- Open Smartshow
- Find the Video and drag down to the first slide
- Click Edit Slide
- Under Layer, Click that Video
- Click Layer Tab
- Click Cut Video
- Drag the Volumn to 0%
- Drag the Start Mark to 0:00:14:000
- Drag the End Mark to 0:00:25:000
- Click Save Cut
- Click Change Slide Duration
- Click Save
